In Bloom

This is a picture of my red Lillie's. I altered the image and turned it into "art". I am just pretty much doing it for fun, to see what I can come up with. I like they way that the images can be changed. Nature is a wonderful inspiration for me.
This is a image of a flowering pear tree upside down.

Same image as above with different color manipulations.

This was one picture of a single Iris petal. Then I mirrored it and matched up the edges to get this affect......very 60's I think.

Summer time fun.

Because it's summer I haven't been posting blogs. It's a hard thing to do when it's so beautiful outside. I will try to post something at least once a month or when something really cool happens. The main reason for the blog is to stay in touch with our family that lives out of state. Well, G & G are back for the summer and I think they all the main readers anyway. Anyway, here are a few pics so far of our fun filled summer.
The kids love to go to the cottage. They live in the water and this summer the greatest thing is to play on "Paradise Island". They have come up with their own version of "Wipe Out".....they have been having a ball.
What a drowned rat my Caden boy is. I think he's going to grow fins one of these days.
We love to have bon-fires in our backyard with our friends. Playing games and eating smores is always a good time. Gentry did not want me to get a nice picture of her daddy, naughty girl.

Ladder ball is a great way to pass the time. BTW I am the best at and can't be beat......yet.

Caden Boy

I took a few shots of Caden playing basketball last night and wanted to share them with everyone. He has had a huge growth spurt in the last two months. He is just 1 1/2 inches shorter than Gentry and only weighs 2lbs less than her.
He's all about the "skater boy" look these days. I think he pulls it off pretty well.

He shoots.........and "oh yeah" he scores.
